COLUMNS DESCRIBING MANUSCRIPT STATUS
(1) The first column lists new submissions, identified by a manuscript ID number, and corresponding author. Clicking on the manuscript ID number gives you access to the page from which refereeing is organized. This page includes a link to the manuscript PDF file, author contact data, access to referees, and a text field.

(2) Contributions awaiting referee reports or your final decision are listed in this column. The date indicates the first time the manuscript was sent to referees.

(3) Submissions returned to the author for revision, but not yet resubmitted, are listed in the fourth column.

(4) Contributions that have already been reviewed, revised by the author, and resubmitted are listed in this column.

INDICATORS
(5) Clicking on (U) opens up manuscript metadata input form for changing or updating information.

(6) A red asterisk* indicates manuscripts entered manually into the system without an electronic file.

(7) A red author name indicates late referees who need to be sent areminder.

(8) Submissions followed by a green author name have received all referee remarks. You may thus make your decision

DISPLAY
(9) Manuscripts can be sorted by last name, manuscript ID or date.

MENUS
(10) Add a new manuscript received via regular mail. Manuscripts can be added with or without manuscript file using a proxy form.

(11) All form letters (e-mail and regular mail) can be edited by clicking on the “Edit Letters” link. This is also the place where you can make changes in your own contact information.

(12) Addresses of referees are entered into this database. These e-mail or postal addresses are used for sending invitations to review manuscripts.

Please note: You should immediatly enter your own name and e-mail into your referee database. This will enable you, by selecting yourself, to act as referee and also to move the manuscript through the system when necessary for other reasons.

(13) You may wish to note here the way in which referees responded (speed, pertinence of their remarks, etc.)
